We chose pure wool for its softness and temperature regulation next to the skin. The light fabric lets excess heat escape without adding much bulk beneath a jacket.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat lightness also means the fabric can develop holes more easily and wear out faster than a heavier material.
